🐾 General Questions

Where are you located?

We’re based in Upper Manhattan, and we serve pet parents across Upper West Side, Harlem, Washington Heights, and Inwood. If your neighborhood is not listed but you are close, we likely service you too! Contact us with any questions.

What services do you offer?

We provide dog walking, drop-in visits, overnight sitting, limited boarding (at a sitter’s home), live-in care (limited availability), pet transportation.

Are you insured?

Yes! We are fully insured through Pet Sitters Associates. Our policy includes coverage for pet daycare, boarding, property damage, veterinary expenses, and more.

🐶 Pet Requirements

What vaccinations does my dog need?

All dogs must be current on:

  • Rabies
  • Bordetella (administered within the past 6 months)
  • DAPP (Distemper, Adenovirus, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza)
  • Leptospirosis

Proof of vaccination is required before services can begin.

Do you accept unspayed or unneutered dogs?

No, all dogs over 7 months must be spayed or neutered to participate in any service.

Does my dog need to be on flea and tick prevention?

Dogs must be free of fleas and ticks at the time of service. Pets showing signs of infestation may be denied care or isolated for safety.

🛏️ Boarding & Sitting

Is your boarding service cage-free?

Yes! We offer cage-free boarding in a home environment. Unless otherwise requested or necessary, dogs are allowed to safely roam and relax in the sitter’s home as if it were their own.

Do you offer trial stays or meet and greets?

Yes! We always have meet-and-greets before first-time services, especially for boarding, live-in care, or pets with special needs.

Can I drop off or pick up my dog outside regular hours?

Drop-offs and pickups outside regular hours are at the sitter’s discretion. Please let us know your preferred times in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your schedule whenever possible.

🚗 Transportation

Do you offer pet transportation?

Yes! We offer safe transportation for pets to vet appointments, grooming, or between homes (based on availability).

We typically transport via Uber Pet, where the client covers the cost of the ride, or via Subway for a standard flat fee of $20.

📅 Scheduling & Cancellations

How far in advance should I book?

  • Dog walking/drop-ins: At least 24–48 hours in advance

  • Boarding/live-in care: At least 72 hours in advance

  • Holidays: As early as possible — space fills up fast

What is your cancellation policy?

  • Walks/drop-ins: Cancel at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a fee

  • Boarding/live-in care: Cancel at least 72 hours in advance

  • Holiday/peak bookings: May require a non-refundable deposit

  • No-shows may result in full or multi-day charges

🧼 Health & Safety

What happens if my pet gets sick during their stay?

We’ll contact you immediately. If we can’t reach you and your pet needs emergency care, we’ll act in your pet’s best interest and you’ll be responsible for any related vet expenses.

What if my pet has a medical condition or is on medication?

We’re happy to accommodate most medical needs. Just let us know in advance and provide clearly labeled medications with dosage instructions.

📸 Photos & Updates

Will I receive updates about my pet?

Yes! We love keeping pet parents in the loop with text and photo updates.

Can I request no photos?

Absolutely. Just let us know if you’d prefer your pet not be featured on our social media or marketing materials.
